As a non-profit organization, charitable contributions are crucial to our mission of producing world-class opera while spreading the joy of opera throughout Southern California through our renowned education and community programs.
More than 50% of LA Opera’s annual operating budget comes from contributions. These gifts make it possible for us to provide our audiences with a magnificent opera experience and give artists—on stage and behind the scenes—the resources they need to create work of the highest artistic standards.
The goal of the Tosca Campaign is to grow LA Opera’s annual fund and to provide our members with a unique opportunity for supporting an upcoming production. Through benefits and events, the Tosca Campaign is designed to create a deeper sense of ownership in the production and LA Opera. Highlights of membership (depending on giving level) include recognition in Performances magazine, an invitation to the Tosca dress rehearsal, a Back Stage tour with production and technical leadership, and a Meet-the-Artist event.
