"A golden floating tone...with a glowing stage presence to match."

Internationally celebrated soprano Renée Fleming returns to LA Opera for a special recital, her first appearance with the Company since her 2006 performances as Violetta in La Traviata. The program will include songs by Richard Strauss and Olivier Messiaen, as well as Henri Dutilleux's song cycle Le temps l'horloge, a piece composed specifically for Ms. Fleming. She will also sing a number of rarely heard arias featured on her new Verismo album, including selections from Ruggero Leoncavallo's La Bohème and Zazà, Umberto Giordano's Siberia and Ricardo Zandonai's Conchita.
