Angela Wiegand is second flutist in the Los Angeles Opera. She also performs as principal flutist with the Santa Barbara Chamber Orchestra. As a founding member of the internationally acclaimed Debussy Trio, she has performed in Prague, Copenhagen and Geneva, at the Kennedy Center, in more than 1000 concerts nationwide, on NPR’s St. Paul Sunday, Voice of America, and KCET’s Life and Times. Angela earned her Bachelor of Music at the University of California at Santa Barbara, and her Master of Music degree from the University of Southern California. She lives in Burbank with her husband and two children, and is an avid practitioner of BikramYoga in her spare time.
