Tina Chang Qu
Second Violin

Tina Chang Qu is a soloist, recitalist, chamber musician and teacher. Ms. Qu graduated from the Curtis Institute of Music, Julliard School and USC, studying with Dorothy DeLay, Felix Galimir, Jaime Laredo and Alice Schoenfeld. As a soloist, she has appeared with the Los Angeles Philharmonic, the American Symphony conducted by Mehli Mehta, Mozart Festival Orchestra, Westchester Symphony and the Chamber Orchestra of Philadelphia. She has performed recitals in both coasts of the U.S., Europe, Hong Kong and China including Alice Tully Hall in New York. Her recent recital in Hong Kong City Hall has been released on DVD. She is the assistant concertmaster of the New West Symphony, and also has been the concertmaster of the Pacific International Music Festival in Japan and the Schleswig Holstein International Music Festival in Germany. Besides music, she likes traveling, scuba diving and outdoor activities.
