Steven Becknell has been performing with Los Angeles Opera for over 20 years. He was a member of the Los Angeles Chamber Orchestra for eight years, and has performed with many of the orchestras in the Southern California area, including the Los Angeles Philharmonic, San Diego Symphony, Pasadena and Pacific Symphonies, and the Los Angeles Master Chorale. He is also active in the Hollywood recording studios, having played on hundreds of motion pictures and television shows, and recording with artists such as Barbra Streisand, Andrea Bocelli, and Josh Groban. Mr. Becknell comes from a musical family in which both his parents were music professors at the University of Wisconsin. He holds music degrees from both the University of Wisconsin and the University of Southern California.
