LA Opera presents the Hispanics for LA Opera Plácido Domingo Awards, with Plácido Domingo and singers from the Domingo-Thornton Young Artist Program and Operalia in An Evening of Spanish Zarzuela and Latin American Music

General Director Plácido Domingo, whose parents were celebrated singers of zarzuela—the popular Spanish form of operetta—will perform as both singer and as conductor, leading the LA Opera Orchestra.

The White Memorial Medical Sing-A-Long series is a pilot program in which the talented artists from LA Opera perform bi-weekly concerts to the patients, doctors, nurses, hospital staff and the general public. The concert includes repertoire from opera, musical theater and popular favorites. Come and sing along with the artists of LA Opera!
