Soprano Rebecca Tomlinson, currently teaching at both California State University San Bernardino and Riverside Community College, has a wide range of both performing and teaching experience. She has been with the LA Opera chorus for seven seasons, and has appeared in more than 25 productions, including most recently Fidelio, Jenufa and Verdi's Requiem. In 2002, Ms. Tomlinson appeared with LA Opera as a Handmaiden in Turandot. She received her Doctor of Musical Arts degree from UCLA in 2003 where she performed such roles as Nella in Gianni Schicchi, Mrs. Gleason in Susannah, Guadalena in La Perichole, Donna Anna in Don Giovanni and Sandrina in La Finta Giardiniera. Engagements with the LA Opera chorus for the 2007/08 season include Otello, Tosca, La Rondine and The Dwarf, and she will also sing the role of Georgette in La Rondine.
