Technologist by day, soprano by night, Christine Sorenson has sung with LA Opera since the Company began, while working full-time for AT&T. At AT&T, she is informally known as the subject matter expert on the technical architecture, design and operation of AT&T's global data networks. She brings her performing abilities to each technical presentation she gives to corporate customers, bringing the subject matter alive and making it a true "performance." She finds the passion of opera to be a perfect escape from her intense, left-brain career in technology and has been thrilled to watch LA Opera grow and thrive since its birth. She is also the cantor at the Danish Lutheran Church in Yorba Linda and sings in Danish in addition to the standard operatic languages.
