Tenor Maxim Mironov was born in Tula, and after graduating from the Higher School of Arts in Moscow he joined the theater "Helicon Opera" in Moscow. Among his engagements he now participates regularly at the Rossini Opera Festival in Pesaro, where he has sung the Cantata di Canova by Rossini.
His appearances include L'Italiana in Algeri at the Asociacion de amigos de la opera de Mahon, Teatro Real Madrid and the Rossini Opera Festival, Don Ramiro in La Cenerentola at the Theatre des Champs Élysées with the Orchestre de Paris and at the Glyndebourne Festival and Count Libenskof in Il Viaggio a Reims.
He has also sung Count Libenskof in Il Viaggio a Reims at the Monnaie and at the Japan Opera Foundation, conducted by Alberto Zedda with whom he works regularly, including at the afore mentioned Rossini Opera Festival. He has also appeared at the Frankfurt Opera, sung Orphée et Eurydice by Gluck in Toulon, Lindoro in L'Italiana in Algeri at the Aix en Provence Festival, Teatro San Carlo, Naples and also in Luxembourg, and Almaviva in Il Barbiere di Siviglia at the Toulon Opera and at the Opera House in Las Palmas where he has been re-invited for L'Italiana in Algeri. He has also sung and also Il Viaggio a Rheims at the Teatro de la Zarzuela, Bilbao and at Santander.
He recently gave his second recital at St. John's Smith Square, London to great acclaim, after being invited back after the success of his first appearance in 2008 and also made his debut in the opera Così fan tutte at the Vlaamse Opera and at the Teatro Massimo, Palermo.
His future engagements include Rossini's Otello at the Lausanne Opera, Castor et Pollux at the Theater an der Wien, La Cenerentola at the Hamburgische Staatsoper and at the Bastille, the role of Belmonte in Mozart's Die Entführung aus dem Serail at the Vlaamse Opera, L'Italiana in Algeri at Las Palmas and at the Gothenburg Konserthus and also Le Postillon de Lonjumeau at the Opera Comique. He will also be making his American debut at LA Opera with Il Turco in Italia.
