Michelle Fournier has the distinction of being the first woman to have appeared in over 100 productions with LA Opera. She has sung featured roles in Carmen, Idomeneo, Nicolas and Alexandra, Le Nozze di Figaro, Die Frau ohne Schatten, Manon and Tannhäuser. Ms. Fournier is featured on the soundtracks of many motion pictures and she is also heard on recordings with John Maucere, Esa Pekka-Salonen, Julie Andrews and Linda Ronstadt. Other credits include solo performances with the Los Angeles Master Chorale, San Luis Obispo Mozart Festival, I Cantori, Palisades Symphony, Bakersfield Symphony, Santa Monica Symphony, LA Bach Festival, Carmel Bach Festival and two appearances with the Joffrey Ballet as vocal soloist in Mendelssohn's A Midsummer Night's Dream.
