Lisa Crave
Soprano

Lisa Crave is that rare breed of soprano whose lyric and agile voice is suited to the operas of Giuseppe Verdi. She attended Middle Tennessee State and California State Northridge universities. Her repertoire includes Aida, Un Ballo in Maschera, Don Carlo, Macbeth, Luisa Miller, La Traviata, Il Trovatore, Otello as well as several of the bel canto operas of Bellini and Donizetti. Other operatic repertoire includes La Fanciulla del West, La Bohème, Tosca and Madama Butterfly. She has performed the roles of Mimi from La Bohème and Luisa Miller to critical acclaim. Ms. Crave has performed in over 25 productions in the past four years with LA Opera, where she recently appeared as the soprano soloist in the world premiere of Goldenthal's Grendel and the Vendor in Luisa Fernanda.
