Filipino tenor Sal Malaki has appeared in over 85 opera productions with the Los Angeles Opera since 1995. He has performed solo roles in La Traviata, Madama Butterfly, La Bohème, Luisa Fernanda, Der Rosenkavalier, La Rondine and Fantastic Mr. Fox. He is a celebrated artist at the Cultural Center of the Philippines with leading roles including Rodolfo in La Bohème, Tamino in The Magic Flute and Pinkerton in Madama Butterfly.
