Hailed by Opera News as a “particularly vivid” performer, soprano Rebecca Nathanson makes her debut this summer with the Aspen Music Festival as the title role in L’Incoronazione di Poppea. Other highlights this season include her international debut at the Royal Opera House Muscat as Musetta in La Bohème under the baton of Lorin Maazel and both Musetta and Frasquita in Carmen with The Castleton Festival. Last season, she was a resident artist at Opera Santa Barbara. During the 2010/2011 season, she made debuts as Musetta at Opera North and as Marguerite in Faust with IU Opera Theater.  She was a Santa Fe Opera Apprentice Artist, a Gerdine Young Artist with Opera Theater of Saint Louis and a Studio Artist with Wolf Trap Opera.
