Grant Gershon made his acclaimed LA Opera conducting debut leading La Traviata in 2009, followed by the world premiere of Daniel Catan's Il Postino in 2010, Handel's L'Allegro, il Penseroso ed il Moderato in 2011, and Puccini's Madame Butterfly in 2012. He will conduct performances of Bizet's Carmen in 2013. He made his Santa Fe Opera debut in 2010, conducting a new production of Vivaldi's Â Griselda. In 2007, he conducted the Minnesota Opera's world premiere of Ricky Ian Gordon's The Grapes of Wrath. Since 2001, he has been Music Director of the Los Angeles Master Chorale.
