Ferdinand Wögerbauer, who regularly works in collaboration with director Peter Stein, makes his LA Opera debut. Recent designs include Macbeth at the Rome Opera and the Salzburg Festival, Shostakovich's The Nose in Zurich, Boris Godunov at the Metropolitan Opera, Lulu in Vienna and in Lyon, The Queen of Spades, Eugene Onegin and Mazeppa in Lyon, and Rossini's Moise et Pharaon for the Salzburg Festival.
