Award-winning Spanish designer Albert Faura makes his LA Opera debut. Recent projects include a co-production of La voix humaine and Il segreto di Susanna for Teatro Cervantes (Malaga), Teatro Arriaga (Bilbao), and Teatro Villamarta (Jerzez); Anna Bolena and The Queen of Spades both for Gran Teatre del Liceu; Els Comediants' staging of L'Italiana in Algeri for Teatro Real Madrid and Maggio Musicale Florence; Turandot for Opera de Monte-Carlo and Simon Boccanegra for Grand Theatre de Geneve.
