Adrian Linford has designed productions of Orfeo Ed Euridice (Minnesota Opera), The Marriage of Figaro (Opera Theatre Company, Dublin), Katya Kabanova and Die Fledermaus (Scottish Opera), The Vanishing Bridegroom (RSAMD Glasgow), Grange Park Opera’s production of Cosi fan tutte which also toured the UK, Albert Herring (Aldeburgh Festival), Nabucco and Cosi fan tutte (Opera West, Scotland), Orlando (Cambridge Handel Opera) and a co-design for Il Trovatore for the Bastille Opera in Paris, directed by Francesca Zambello. He worked closely with the designer Maria Bjornson on The Phantom of the Opera and realized the sets for her productions of Les Troyens at the Metropolitan Opera and for the world premiere of The Little Prince at Houston Grand Opera. In 2003, he returned to Houston to work with fashion designer Zandra Rhodes on her new production of Aida, which has also been seen at English National Opera and San Francisco Opera.
