A rising operatic star, the young Italian bass-baritone Vito Priante has performed across Europe in venerable theatres including La Scala, Covent Garden, the Salzburg Festival and with the opera companies of Vienna, Munich, Berlin, Naples, Lyon, Barcelona and Rome. Upcoming engagements feature The Marriage of Figaro in Munich, L’Elisir d’Amore in Torino and Manon in Luxembourg. Recent highlights include Il Prigioniero in Madrid; La Cenerentola at the Vienna State Opera; The Marriage of Figaro at the Glyndebourne Festival, the BBC Proms, the Salzburg Festival and Staatsoper Berlin; Leporello in Don Giovanni in Venice; and Figaro in The Barber of Seville in Florence. Future seasons will take him to London, Madrid, Barcelona, Munich and Chicago.
