Canadian bass Robert Pomakov made his LA Opera debut in 2008 as Angelotti in Tosca. This season's appearances include Monterone in Rigoletto at the Canadian Opera Company and Le Chambellan in Le Rossignol at the Opéra de Lyon. He has most recently appeared in Peter Grimes and Madama Butterfly at Houston Grand Opera, Figaro in Le Nozze di Figaro in Bilbao, and A Midsummer Night's Dream and Don Giovanni at the Canadian Opera Company.
