Irish mezzo-soprano Patricia Bardon made her LA Opera debut in 2009 as Andronico in Tamerlano. Appearances for the 2012/13 season include her debut in Santa Fe as Calbo in Rossini's Maometto II, Cornelia in Julius Caesar at the Metropolitan Opera and in a new production at English National Opera, Zenobia in a new production of Radamisto at Theater an der Wien under René Jacobs (also on tour with the English Concert under Harry Bicket) and Lady Penelope Rich in Richard Jones’ new production of Gloriana at the Royal Opera House, Covent Garden.
