Milena Kitic's LA Opera appearances include the title role in Carmen, Suzuki in Madama Butterfly, Meg Page in Falstaff and Giulietta in The Tales of Hoffmann. A native of Belgrade, she has performed Carmen throughout Germany, Austria, the Netherlands, Belgium, Czech Republic and the United States (Washington National Opera, Baltimore Opera, Metropolitan Opera). She has performed Maddalena in Rigoletto at the Deutsche Oper Berlin and the Festspielhaus Salzburg, and Emilia in Otello with New York Opera Orchestra at Carnegie Hall and at the Ravinia Festival.
