Russian soprano Ekaterina Sadovnikova studied at the St. Petersburg Conservatory and Hochschule für Musik Dresden. Ms Sadovnikova’s recent engagements include Gilda in Rigoletto at Covent Garden, Teatro La Fenice, Opéra Royal de Wallonie, Canadian Opera Company and at the Baths of Caracalla, Rome; Violetta in La Traviata at Teatro La Fenice, Teatro San Carlo and Opéra Royal Wallonie; Adina in L'Elisir d’Amore with the Mikhailovsky Theatre and Bolshoi Theater; and, Musetta in La Bohème and the title role in Lucia di Lammermoor with Teatro La Fenice. Concert performances include Rachmaninoff’s The Bells at the Concertgebouw in Amsterdam and Mahler's Symphony No. 4 at the Accademia Nazionale di Santa Cecilia in Rome. She was among the winners at the International Competition in Dresden in 2006 and the Elena Obraztsova International Competition.
