David Bizic, who makes his LA Opera debut, was born in Belgrade. In 2003, he became a member of the Opera Studio of the Paris National Opera, and took part in many productions of the Opera Bastille and the Opera Garnier. He was a winner of Operalia in 2007. Recent appearances include Figaro in The Marriage of Figaro in Monte Carlo, Masetto in Don Giovanni in Aix en Provence, Leporello in Don Giovanni at the Bolshoi Theater and Deutsche Oper Berlin, and Escamillo in Carmen in Belgrade.
