In 2008, Craig Colclough started his career at LA Opera. After two seasons as a guest artist he joined Florida Grand Opera’s Young Artist Studio and in 2012 became a Filene Young Artist at the Wolf Trap Opera Company. During the 2012/13 season, Mr. Colclough has appeared as a guest artist with the Florida Grand Opera, the Arizona Opera and LA Opera. Upcoming engagements include the title role of Falstaff at the Wolf Trap Opera Company, the title role of Don Pasquale at the Arizona Opera and Beethoven’s 9th Symphony with the Pasadena Symphony. He will return to LA Opera in 2014 as the Bosun in Billy Budd. Past leading roles include Don Giovanni, Leporello and the Commendatore in Don Giovanni, Nick Shadow in The Rake’s Progress, Collatinus in The Rape of Lucretia, Oroveso in Norma, Rambaldo in La Rondine, Raimondo in Lucia di Lammermoor, Friar Laurence in Romeo et Juliette and the title role of Mendelssohn's Elijah.
