Angela Meade is the winner of the 2011 Richard Tucker Award and the recipient of the 2012 Beverly Sills Artist Award for young singers at the Metropolitan Opera. Appearances for the 2011/12 season include returns to the Met in the title role of Anna Bolena and as Elvira in Ernani, her Deutsche Oper Berlin debut as Lucrezia in a concert of The Two Foscari, and her Canadian debut with the Orchestre Metropolitain, singing the Zemlinsky Lyric Symphony.
